This piece began as a vision I’d seen again and again on the mountain; I set the board up at the pond, stepped away, and meditated to the hush of skates and the distant clamor of play. Above me the sun cast a bright aura, and in my mind colorful slopes unfurled beneath those radiant rays. I returned to the board and trusted the memory… the brush moved with intent: vivid washes, layered pigments, and confident strokes that translate sunlight into movement and color. To my surprise, it evolved into something I hadn’t precisely expected — more alive, more luminous, and more colorful than any single glimpse on the mountain could hold.
This snowboard is primarily an art piece meant to hang and inspire, but for those who want to ride it, we can make it fully rideable for an additional $80. Every mark was made in real time during the Georgetown pond hockey tournament, so the board carries the energy sunlit auras, playful slopes, and mountain-born energy all locked into the surface.

This board is not just painted wood… it’s a memory, a vision repeated on the mountain, and a vibrant moment from our playground frozen in color.
