Hi, I’m Alaina, and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m the artist and founder behind AFEVE-R-DREAM, where I merge my two greatest loves: snowsports and art.

My journey on the slopes began when I was four, and I've been a passionate skier and snowboarder ever since. My experience tuning and repairing my own gear and working in ski shops gives me true insider expertise. I pour this knowledge into every piece, ensuring my repurposed gear is not only beautiful but also fully functional.

For over a decade, I’ve been an artist. My creative process is deeply personal, guided by a meditation practice I've maintained for over seven years. This practice helps me quiet my mind and bring forth the visionary ideas that create my paintings. These meditative, "fever dream" sensations turn discarded gear into one-of-a-kind creations.

Central to my brand is the octopus symbol. This creature's intelligence and adaptability perfectly mirror my mission. Just as the octopus navigates its ecosystem, I create art that champions environmental stewardship within the snowsports community. It reminds us that the health of one ecosystem is tied to the health of all.

AFEVE-R-DREAM is the culmination of this passion, with the "R" highlighting my commitment to repurposing materials and "Dream" capturing the surreal, visionary inspiration behind my art.
